Rupert Wyatt's reboot prequel to the long-running Planet of the Apes series was a surprise hit, both in terms of the domestic box office as well as the critical responses. With the film's release in UK, two new posters was released. Hit the jump to check out the new posters.

In our earlier coverage on the San Diego Comic-Con, we have reported on the release of the teaser trailer for Holy Terror, the project by Frank Miller formerly known as "Holy Terror, Batman!" now published by Legendary Comics, the comic-publishing subsidiary of Legendary Pictures, Legendary Comics, the comic-publishing subsidiary of Legendary Pictures.

Legendary Entertainment today revealed the first five pages of HOLY TERROR, the graphic novel by iconic writer and artist, Frank Miller, exclusively on the company’s website at http://www.legendary.com.



In HOLY TERROR, join The Fixer, a brand new, hard-edged hero as he battles terror. The graphic novel is a no-holds-barred action thriller told in Miller’s trademark high-contrast, black-and-white visual style, which seizes the political zeitgeist by the throat and doesn’t let go until the last page.



HOLY TERROR is a 120 page hardcover graphic novel with spot-color interiors presented in a 10 x 13 landscape format. Distributed by Diamond Books, HOLY TERROR retails for $29.99 and will be in stores in September.

Alex Pardee's Awesome Poster for Edgar Wright's Triple Feature

In this amazing poster conjured by artist Alex Pardee, characters from Edgar Wright's triple feature film, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World come together in one awesome jam art.



Collaborating with Midnites for Maniacs, Edgar Wright will be showcasing a triple-bill of his feature films, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, in person at San Francisco’s Castro Theatre on the 26th of August. Teaming with Wright, artist Alex Pardee was commissioned to produce a special poster for the triple-bill event.



We have earlier seen some of the cool work by Pardee, from his special poster for Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, to his concept art pieces for Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch. Here, Pardee channeled his inner fanboy for Wright's typically awesome films and came out with a poster worthy of its source.

So…I kinda just got to work with one of my creative heroes this week…



Edgar Wright, who has directed some of my favorite films, teamed up with me and my fanboyish spirit to create this piece for his upcoming triple-bill event in San Francisco at the Castro Theatre. This image will be for sale at the event in limited edition form courtesy of Zerofriends x Edgar Wright. Limited edition of the poster will be on sale during the event. The remaining posters (if any) after the event will be sold online at Pardee's webstore, Zerofriends. Anyway, fans of Wright's films who happened to be in town should attend the event. The ticket only cost a mere fifteen and Wright will be there in person to introduce each films and a Q&A session.

Conan the Barbarian: New Clips and Posters

Conan! What is best in life? By Crom, the latest film adaptation of Robert E. Howard's iconic Conan the Barbarian opens this Friday, and we have some new clips and posters from the film.



Robert E. Howard's icon, Conan the Barbarian, comes alive on the silver screen yet again after decades of hiatus courtesy of director Marcus Nispel and Jason Momoa, the actor portraying the classic sword-and-sorcery character made immortal by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Contagion: Character Posters

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:
