Prey 2 Cinematic Trailer: E3 2011

We have inadvertently missed out on the release of the official cinematic trailer of Bethesda Softworks and Human Head Studios's Prey 2. For those who haven't check out the gorgeous trailer, hit on right here.

2006's Prey was a surprise hit considering the seemingly endless influx of First-Person Shooters back then. With top notch graphic and a somewhat unusual story for a regular sci-fi FPS adventure, the game, developed by Human Head Studios and published by 2K Games, was met with generally warm reception both from the casual players and the critics.

Officially announced in March, Prey 2 will be published by Bethesda Softworks with Human Head Studios still heading its development. It was later announced that the original protagonist of the first game, Domasi "Tommy" Tawodi, will be taking a backseat for this one with a new protagonist in town. Killian Samuels, an U.S. Marshal was on a passenger flight that eventually crashed onto the Sphere. Few years removed, Samuels became a bounty hunter on the alien world of Exodus with no memory of the time since his abduction. Believing himself to be the only human on Exodus, he later met Tommy in the adventure.

As mentioned earlier, the cinematic trailer of the sequel was released more than two months ago during E3. However, we opined that this is one cool trailer not to be missed.

Hit the jump to check out the trailer, tuned to the sound of Johnny Cash's cover of Soundgarden's "Rusty Cage".
